This accountability creates a respectful, safe environment for both bartenders and event hosts. Ensuring a respectful, safe environment for all bartenders and Event Hosts
The way you behave while using the BBSD platform can have a big impact on the safety and comfort of bartenders, as well as your fellow passengers. Courtesy matters. That’s why you are expected to exercise good judgment and behave decently towards other people during events when using BBSD — just as you would in any public place.
Quality
Event hosts who use BBSD expect their bartender to be courteous and professional. The higher the quality of the service, the more event hosts want to use a bartenders for events, which in turn means more opportunities for bartenders to earn money. Poor service has the opposite effect over time. There are several ways we measure bartender quality, with the most important being Star Ratings.
Star Ratings
After every event, bartenders and hosts are able to rate each other on a scale of one to five stars, as well as give feedback on how the event went. This two-way system holds everyone accountable for their behavior. Accountability helps create a respectful, safe environment for both bartenders and Event Hosts. Bartenders can see their current rating in the BBSD app.
If your average rating falls below the minimum after multiple notifications, you will lose access to your account.
Cancellation
If the bartender cancels less than 12 hours prior to the event the bartender receives a bad rating from the event host. On the 3rd cancellations with less than 12 hour to an event in a 6 month period will result in suspension of the bartender from the BBSD platform. If the event host cancel with less than 12 hours to the event they are required to pay 50% of agreed upon cost to the bartender.
Zero Tolerance for Drugs and Alcohol
BBSD does not tolerate the use of drugs or alcohol by bartenders while working an event.
